At First Presbyterian we're pretty "particular" - we believe that our ever-active God calls particular people and draws them to particular places in God's own time and for God's own reasons.  Everyone at FPC is God's workmanship, an indispensable part of the Body of Christ, called by God to use their special gifts in works of service which God prepared in advance for us to do, so that the body of Christ may be built up.  In his letter to the church at Ephesus, Paul writes that the power to do these works is sourced in knowing Jesus better.
